AU Gymnastics Fall 2008 Recruitment
Welcome to the recruitment page for American University's Club Gymnastics Team, this is our fifth competitive year and we are very excited about it! Here are some of our objectives for the semester and other important information you should know about:

Estimated Dues/Fees:
- Advanced (Competitive gymnasts)- $100
- Intermediate (Non-Competitive)- $80
- Beginner (Non-Competitive)- $60
Beginner: We are a competitive team, but we also welcome beginners. We hold a separate workout for beginners twice a week, and they are also more than welcome to join us at the private gym workouts once a month. Many of the girls on the team have years of experience coaching all levels, so there is a lot of opportunity for beginners to truly excel (it happened last semester!).
Intermediate: Intermediate is new this fall semester. Intermediate gymnasts will be able to attend all the advanced workouts off campus but will not have to worry about competitions and routines. Intermediate is great for athletes who love the sport and want access to the equipment only available at a gymnastics facility but are not interested in competitions.
Advanced: Although the schedule may seem demanding, we are a much more relaxed atmosphere that those of you who have competed for private clubs. Our competitive team ranges from girls have very little experience to girls with years and years of competitive experience. Also, we do not require girls to compete every event, so you may compete on any events in which your are comfortable with or feel that you will most excel in.
